ALBA
Lumiere Studio and Lumiere Group worked with Lebanon’s Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) to run a lighting competition for interior architecture students. Candidates were instructed to develop a lighting design concept for a multi-level house. I was the artistic director for the picture shown in the background. A table lamp with the name Mano, and designed by Pietro Chiesa in 1932 for the brand FontanaArte, was selected from the Lumiere Group showroom. The picture was later turned into black and white, and a blue filter was added to show the contrast between lighting touches on the sketch and the rest of the picture. Yellow highlights were added to certain words in the poster to draw attention to specific information.
